Fly Nepa has officially canceled the much-anticipated comedy show ‘Now America Laughs’ that was scheduled to take place in the United States. On Monday, the organizers issued a statement confirming the cancellation after ending their agreement with comedian Bikky Agrawal’s team.
Reason Behind the Cancellation
According to the statement, Fly Nepa had to withdraw from the contract due to a professional conflict. Bikky Agrawal’s team agreed to perform in a similar show organized by another party in the USA, which forced Fly Nepa to back out. The organizers viewed this as a breach of professional ethics.
Artists and Agreement Details
Fly Nepa had signed contracts with the Comedy Darbar team, including Bikky Agrawal, Pawan Khatri, Miss Pabi, Sundar Dhital, Sujata Shrestha, and Bikash Aryal for the show. However, following the conflicting agreement, the organizers decided to cancel all arrangements related to these artists.
Apology to the Audience and Upcoming Shows
Fly Nepa apologized sincerely to fans who were eagerly waiting for the event. They also reassured the audience that other programs like ‘Now America Listens’ are ongoing, and the ‘Now America Sings’ show will be held soon.
Background on the Program Series
Fly Nepa had announced a series of shows last winter, including ‘Now America Laughs 2’, ‘Now America Sings’, and ‘Now America Listens’, aiming to bring Nepali entertainment to audiences in the USA. Despite this setback, the organizers remain committed to continuing the other events in the lineup.
