While the reel was met with admiration and praise from fans, one comment stood out—and not in a good way. A user claimed, “Jasmin ne upper lips mein injection lagaya hai (Jasmin has taken lip injections).” Not one to stay silent, Jasmin hit back with a savage yet witty reply: “Injection nahi filter,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Her fans also came to her defense, calling out the baseless assumption. Jasmin’s candid response won praise for its sass and honesty.
Jasmin’s Past Remarks on Cosmetic Procedures
This isn’t the first time the Bigg Boss alum has addressed rumors about cosmetic enhancements. In a past interview with Bollywood Bubble in April, Jasmin opened up about the stigma around beauty treatments like Botox and lip fillers. “What’s wrong in that?” she said. “Everyone has their own body, their own face, their own needs. Whoever wants to get something done, should be free to do so.”
She also clarified that an earlier misunderstanding about her lips had nothing to do with any procedure. “There was swelling from an incident, and the makeup artist had overlined my lips a lot. It actually looked fine on camera, but later I realised it didn’t suit me. It was just makeup and lighting,” she explained.
The ‘Chapri’ Controversy
Jasmin and her boyfriend, actor Aly Goni, also found themselves in hot water recently after playfully calling each other ‘chapri’ in their Instagram Stories. The term is often considered derogatory, associated with classist or casteist undertones, and their use of it didn’t sit well with many online.
Facing backlash, the couple tried to lighten the mood, saying it was all meant in jest. Aly shared a post on his Instagram Story featuring a paparazzi update about the incident, while Jasmin reposted it with the caption, “But it was supposed to be funny,” adding laughing emojis.
