The Koshi Provincial Assembly has unanimously passed the proposal titled “To Consider the Bill Related to the Implementation of the Financial Proposal of the Koshi Provincial Government, 2082.”
The proposal was tabled by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Ram Bahadur Magar, and was approved with full consensus after Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bisht presented it for a decision.
Lawmakers Voice Support
During the discussion, provincial lawmakers Tilchan Pathak and Israel Mansuri expressed full support, stating that the proposal is crucial for mobilizing funds and fostering development in the province.
In the zero hour session, MP Khadga Bahadur Basnet thanked the government for including his submitted plans in the Red Book (annual budget document) and urged it to consider other pending plans as well. MP Mina Shrestha highlighted recurring flooding in Itahari Municipality during the monsoon season and urged the provincial government to address the issue seriously.
The next sitting of the Koshi Provincial Assembly is scheduled for 11 AM tomorrow.
