TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has ignited anticipation for their fourth full-length album, The Tale of the Star: TOGETHER, with the release of a stunning concept trailer that dives deep into their evolving fictional universe.
Dropped at midnight KST on June 29 via HYBE LABELS’ official YouTube channel, the trailer paints a rich, emotional portrait of five individuals navigating pain, separation, and eventual healing. Set against a dystopian backdrop, the story begins with a rebellious underground party that offers brief escape from a world under constant surveillance. However, despite the energy of the crowd, the five members remain emotionally distant from one another.
As the authorities storm the gathering, chaos ensues, and the once vibrant moment collapses into panic. Through powerful symbolism—horns, elf ears, heterochromia, wings, and thorns—each member’s internal struggles are visualized, representing emotional wounds and otherworldly dimensions of their psyche.
One of the most striking scenes features Soobin suspended in midair, isolated in a void. Taehyun, gifted with a supernatural perception, detects Soobin’s distress. The group unites in a rescue mission: Yeonjun sacrifices part of himself to break through darkness, Beomgyu heals Hueningkai, and together, they save Soobin. Their final embrace is a poignant metaphor for rediscovered unity and emotional rebirth.
The trailer also subtly nods to TXT’s earlier works. Fans will recognize the floating paper crown from minisode 3: TOMORROW, and the recurring star imagery, reminiscent of Nap of a Star, strengthens the thread connecting past and present narratives within the TXT universe.
