Police have arrested three individuals in Kailali with over 2.7 kilograms of opium, a banned narcotic.
Seized From a Local Hotel
The arrest took place at Panchakoshi Hotel & Restaurant located in Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, Sukhad. Police seized 2 kilograms and 714 grams of opium during the operation.
Who Were Arrested?
The arrested individuals are:
- Lokendra Bahadur Shahi (32) from Sarkegad Rural Municipality-5, Humla
- Salu Shahi (27), address not disclosed
- Purnima Pun Magar (32) from Sunachhari Rural Municipality-7, Rolpa
Caught With Help of Tip-Off
The arrests were made based on a special tip-off, by a team led by DSP Ramesh Dutta Awasthi from the Area Police Office, Sukhad.
