A 41-year-old man named Deepak Chand died after being hit by a jeep in Daiji Bazaar, Bedkot Municipality–3.
The jeep, coming from the opposite direction, hit Chand while he was riding a motorcycle on Tuesday night. He was seriously injured and died during treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohora, the police have taken both the jeep and its driver into custody.
Chand, a resident of Gauriya in Bhimdatta Municipality–4, was running a hardware store in Daiji.
