TV actor Kanwar Dhillon has strongly reacted to the ongoing speculation around his relationship with actress Alice Kaushik. The duo, who rose to fame with their on-screen chemistry in Pandya Store where they played a married couple, have been dating off-screen for quite some time. However, recent reports have sparked breakup rumours, especially after Alice mentioned on Bigg Boss 18 that Kanwar had proposed to her inside the house—a claim the actor has since dismissed.
Kanwar Reacts to Breakup Reports
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Kanwar Dhillon didn’t hold back in calling out certain media outlets for spreading baseless news about his personal life. In a strongly-worded post, he wrote:
“To all the inquisitive folks and media portals who continue to write stupid articles about Alice and I, we are very much together and do not need to keep making it clear every month.”
He further criticized the tone and accuracy of the reports, urging journalists to avoid sensationalism.
“End this mud-slinging journalism with nasty headlines, content and comments. Don’t create speculations when there should be none. We clear? Thank you and get a life because your writing content definitely needs more than a ‘SECOND CHANCE’.”
Clarifies Statement on Wedding Rumours
This isn’t the first time Kanwar has had to address rumours. He previously cleared the air about supposed wedding plans with Alice. Explaining a misunderstood conversation, he said:
“I had told her that she’s the kind of girl I would want to get married to someday, not that I’m proposing now. But the way it was conveyed inside the house, people started messaging me like we’re getting married.”
Currently, Kanwar Dhillon is winning hearts with his performance in Udne Ki Aasha, where he stars opposite Neha Harsora. The show has been receiving a great response from viewers.
Despite the noise, Kanwar and Alice seem to be going strong, with Kanwar making it clear that their relationship is no one else’s business but their own.
