YG Apologizes for "Zero Visibility" Seats at BLACKPINK’s Goyang Concert

YG Entertainment has issued a public apology following backlash over “zero visibility” seats during BLACKPINK’s recent concerts in Goyang.

On July 7, YG stated, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to audience members in the N3 section during BLACKPINK’s concert last weekend, where the view of the stage was significantly obstructed.”

BLACKPINK performed at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on July 5 and 6 as part of their BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG. However, many fans in the N3 section were shocked to find their view of the stage completely blocked by large screens.

Although this section directly faced the stage, fans were unable to see the members for nearly the entire two-hour show. YG said that extended LED screens were added to improve visibility, but they “regrettably did not resolve the issue.”

Adding to fans’ frustration, there was no clear notice during ticket sales that the N3 seats had full view blockage. Only a general warning about “possible view obstruction due to equipment” was provided.

Tickets for these obstructed-view seats were priced at around 130,000 KRW (approx. $95 USD), leading many attendees to demand refunds.

YG confirmed they are “preparing follow-up measures” for those affected and will share more details soon through the ticketing platform.
