Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan’s official Instagram account has been hacked, prompting the star to warn his fans and followers. Unni took to his verified Facebook page to inform the public about the security breach and advised everyone to be careful when dealing with any content from the compromised Instagram profile.
In a clear message, Unni stated, “IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. My official Instagram account @iamunnimukundan has been hacked. Any updates, DMs, stories, or posts from that account are not from me — they are being shared by hackers.”
He cautioned fans against clicking suspicious links or sharing personal details through his Instagram. “Please do NOT engage, click on any suspicious links, or share personal information in response to anything from that account at this time,” he added.
Unni assured fans that his team is actively working with the authorities to regain control of his Instagram. “We’re working with the relevant teams to resolve the issue. I’ll keep you all posted through verified channels. Thanks for your support and caution,” he concluded, using hashtags like #StaySafe and #InstagramHack.
Fans flooded his Facebook post with messages of support and advised extra caution for his other online accounts. One fan said, “Please check your other accounts carefully. Stay safe always.” Another added, “Double-check your Facebook and email. If one is hacked, others could be at risk.”
