Renowned actress Manisha Koirala has signed a petition launched in support of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former Prime Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
The signature campaign was started by RSP, alleging that the government has been taking revenge-driven actions against Lamichhane. Koirala joined the initiative as a concerned citizen.
“I raised my voice against injustice,” says Koirala
After signing, Koirala clarified that she is not affiliated with any political party, but felt compelled to speak out against what she described as state-led injustice and mistreatment.
“I came here as an ordinary citizen. I felt the need to raise my voice against the injustice and abuse happening in the country,” she said.
Koirala further added, “Anyone who watches the news and understands the situation can clearly see that Rabi Lamichhane is being mistreated.”
