Anushka Shetty Thanks Guru Bharat Thakur with Emotional Note on Guru Purnima

Actress Anushka Shetty, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Ghaati, took to Instagram on the occasion of Guru Purnima to express her heartfelt gratitude to her spiritual guide, Bharat Thakur.

In a warm and emotional post, she wrote,

“To my guru 🙏 Bharat Thakur 🙏 for his grace and guidance always, to my parents, my family, my dear one… to every person known/unknown, to moments/situations each day… all of which that has just helped me grow, helped me learn/unlearn… helped me be who I am and the journey continues… Thank you very much. Happy Guru Purnima.”

The actress also extended her thanks to her family and all those who have shaped her journey.

Meanwhile, Anushka’s much-awaited action thriller Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, has been postponed. Originally slated for a July 11 release, the makers announced on Saturday that the release has been delayed to give the film more depth and emotional impact.

Production house UV Creations shared in a poetic statement:

“Cinema is a living river… sometimes it rushes forward, sometimes it pauses to gather depth… Ghaati is not just a film; it’s a mountain echo, a wild breeze, a story carved from stone and soil… We believe this wait will make the experience richer, more intense, more unforgettable.”

Ghaati marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish after their 2010 hit Vedam. The film also stars Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu as Desi Raju and features art direction by National Award winner Thota Tharrani.

The new release date has not yet been revealed.
