A massive fire broke out at the iconic main stage of Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, on the evening of Wednesday, July 16, 2025, just two days before the festival was scheduled to begin. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Emergency services acted swiftly
Dramatic videos shared on social media captured the massive flames engulfing the world-famous stage, known for its extravagant and imaginative design. Local media outlet GVA reported that the fire was brought under control before 8 PM, thanks to a quick response from emergency services.
According to Euronews, no attendees were present at the time of the incident. However, some crew members were on-site preparing for the upcoming festival. Authorities also advised local residents to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution.
