Anita Hassanandani is all set for a new chapter as she joins Zee TV’s upcoming reality show, Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. Hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the show will be shot in a remote village near Bhopal. Anita, known for her powerful on-screen presence, is now ready to take on an exciting off-screen challenge.
The actress recently shared an emotional video on Instagram as she left for Bhopal. In the clip, Anita is seen hugging her husband, Rohit Reddy, and their son, Aarav. Fighting back tears, she tells her son, “I’m going to miss you, Aarav,” before kissing him on the head and giving her husband a goodbye kiss.
She captioned the video, “My cheerleaders for life! Am I lucky or AM I LUCKY. #myjaans #mylifeline.” The video quickly went viral, with fans and celebrities pouring in love and support. Celebs like Aditi Bhatia and Sana Makbul also wished her luck for this new journey.
In a recent interview, Anita opened up about her past experience in a village during a shoot for a South Indian film. “I was once bitten by a leech while filming. My leg swelled up, and it was quite scary. This time, I’m carrying gumboots to Bhopal just in case!” she shared.
Chhoriyan Chali Gaon will feature a star-studded contestant lineup, including Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, and the twin duo Chinki-Minki.
