After the release of Sikandar, Salman Khan is all set for his next big film — Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces.

Salman has been undergoing tough physical training for this intense war drama. The shoot is expected to begin in the first week of August, with the team building a large set at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai by the end of July.

According to a source, about 10–12 days of filming will take place in Mumbai before the crew heads to Ladakh for action-packed scenes. “The Mumbai schedule is important for early character-building moments,” the source shared, adding that Salman will join the shoot from day one.

The Ladakh schedule is expected to be intense, featuring night shoots, combat scenes, and rigorous battle training. Salman reportedly started preparing for the role back in May.

Speaking earlier about his prep, Salman said, “It’s physically intense. With every year, it gets tougher. I’m doing everything—running, kicking, punching.”

Battle of Galwan is expected to hit theatres in May 2026, although an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
