Vijay Deverakonda is ready to storm the big screen once again with his upcoming action drama, Kingdom, which will release worldwide on July 31. For Hindi-speaking audiences, the film has been titled Saamrajya, and it promises an intense story filled with betrayal, emotion, and power-packed action.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, best known for the National Award-winning film Jersey, the movie features Vijay in a completely new avatar. He plays a battle-scarred hero who never wanted to rule, but is forced to rise for the sake of a broken kingdom drowning in lies and treachery.
“Saamrajya is about a man who never wanted the throne but is forced to rise because the world around him collapses,” said director Tinnanuri, describing the film’s core theme of redemption and transformation.
The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with the Hindi version presented by Adwise Movies and Atul Rajani. The Hindi dubbed version will be released by AA Films across North India.
Saamrajya has already created a buzz with its teaser, which garnered millions of views in just hours. The teaser features voiceovers by major stars — Jr NTR (Telugu), Suriya (Tamil), and Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi) — boosting its cross-language appeal.
Adding innovation to its promotion, the film’s team released an AI-generated promo video, earning praise within the industry for its futuristic approach.
The background score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John. The film also stars Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse in important roles.
Saamrajya will be released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil, and fans can expect a thrilling cinematic experience packed with high-octane action, emotional depth, and Vijay Deverakonda like never before.
