A woman who was found dead this morning in Tarkeshwor, Kathmandu, has been identified by the police. According to SP Apilraj Bohora, spokesperson for the Kathmandu District Police, the deceased was 26-year-old Tilamaya Tamang. She was originally from Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality–3 in Dhading but had been living in Sheshmati, Tarkeshwor–4. Her body was discovered hanging from an iron bar at the Tusalchaur playground in Pipal Danda, Tarkeshwor Municipality–8. Based on information provided by her family, Tilamaya had gone missing the previous night. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact cause of death.
