The much-anticipated Nepali film ‘Kohsedhunga’, set to release on Bhadra 12, has unveiled a new song titled ‘Natra Bhane Jindagi Byarth Cha’. Released in the festive spirit of Teej, this song beautifully explores different aspects of marital life as well as the hopes and dreams of unmarried women through artistic expression.

Written by Netra Aryal and composed by Khem Century, the song features vocals by Khem Century, Samikshya Adhikari, and Deepika Bayambu Magar. It highlights the positive sides of married women’s lives while also portraying the anticipation and imagination unmarried young women have about their future partners. Staying true to the tradition of Nepali Teej songs, the video shows both married and unmarried women joyfully expressing their feelings and emotions.

Alongside the song release, the film’s production team has launched a TikTok competition starting today and running until August 20. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #NatraBhaneJindagiByarthCha in their videos. Prizes include NPR 30,000 for the best performance, NPR 20,000 for the most creative video, and NPR 10,000 for the video with the most likes.

Directed by Saroj Paudel, ‘Kohsedhunga’ follows the success of his previous film ‘Purna Bahadurko Sarangi’. The movie is presented by Nardevi Films in collaboration with Sarangi Films. It features an ensemble cast including Suraksha Pant, Aryan Sikdel, Richa Sharma, Manzil Kumar, Niti Shah, Praveen Khatiwada, Saroj Khanal, Bishal Pahadi, Hiwala Gautam, Dinesh Kafle, and Lokmani Sapkota. Dinesh Khadka is the executive producer, while Previl Kandel and Kishor Anurag are the producers.
The film will be released simultaneously in Nepal and over 40 other countries, with Seven Seas International handling its global distribution.
