A 30-year-old man named Sanjeev Sada was found dead in the plantation area of Bardibas Medical College in Bardibas–5, Mahottari. He was a resident of the Musahar community in Bardibas and the son of Dukha Sada, according to the Area Police Office, Bardibas.
The body was discovered inside a barbed-wire fenced area where the medical college had carried out tree plantation work as part of its land acquisition. Locals who saw the body informed the police.
A police team led by Sub-Inspector Meghu Rai Yadav from the temporary police post at Maithan reached the site and conducted preliminary investigations. Further investigation is ongoing under the supervision of DSP Bikash Bam from the Bardibas police office.
According to police, Sanjeev Sada had been struggling with mental health issues and was known for excessive alcohol consumption over a long period.
