Seventeen’s DK is stepping back onto the baseball field! The beloved idol will once again throw the ceremonial first pitch for the upcoming KBO League game between the Doosan Bears and the LG Twins. The game will take place on July 26 at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
DK, a devoted fan of the Doosan Bears who proudly calls himself a “Doosan kid,” first threw the opening pitch for the team during their 2023 season opener. Despite his efforts to bring luck, the Bears lost that game, and DK jokingly missed out on earning his “victory fairy” title.
Now, he’s ready for a comeback. “I’m excited to be given another chance to pitch for Doosan,” DK said. “Last time didn’t go as we hoped, but this time, I’ll make sure to be the victory fairy.”
Fans can also look forward to more from DK and Seventeen, as the group is preparing for their upcoming world tour NEW_, which kicks off with two shows at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13 and 14.
