The makers of the upcoming Nepali film Jerry on Top have officially kickstarted their promotional campaign by unveiling three brand new posters. The film, set to hit theatres on Asoj 31, is directed by Suyog Gurung and stars Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, and Jassita Gurung in lead roles.
The posters offer a glimpse into the film’s tone and storyline. In one, Anmol and Jassita appear dressed as mountain climbers, hinting at an adventurous plot. Another poster captures Anmol in a romantic setting with both leading ladies, clearly teasing a love triangle at the heart of the story.
The film also features notable actors like Kedar Ghimire aka Magne Budho, Bhuwan KC, Sushma Pant, and Usha Khadka. Interestingly, Anmol’s real-life father Bhuwan KC plays his father on-screen as well.
Producer Saroj Neupane, during the poster release, mentioned that this was just the beginning and fans can expect more surprises as the release date nears. He emphasized that Jerry on Top is a result of the entire team’s hard work and dedication.
The film was shot in scenic locations such as Everest Base Camp, Kathmandu, and Mustang. Some scenes in Kathmandu were filmed on an elaborate set built at a cost of nearly NPR 1 crore.
The story is penned by Hemraj BC, with cinematography by Dulip Regmi and screenplay by Bishwas Timilsina. Music for the film comes from Kali Prasad Baskota, Jayan J Waiba, Johan Chamling Rai, and Brijesh Shrestha. Producers also include Robin Sherchan, Ramkrishna Shrestha, and Deepak Bhandari, with Anuradha Giri and Ishwar Shrestha serving as executive producers. Associate producers include Nabin Ghimire, Bivek Thapa, and Bhavishya Khadka.
