New Aama song from Nepali film RIYAL RINGGIT is out on youtube

A new Nepali song titled “Aama” from the upcoming film “Riyal Ringgit” has been released. The movie is scheduled to be released across Nepal on Shrawan 16. The song, which was made public on Sunday, reflects the pain and emotional struggles faced by Nepali youth working abroad.

The song highlights the challenges of migrant workers. It shows their physical and mental hardships, as well as the deep emotions they feel when missing their families. Through this song, the film introduces its main theme—the reality of life as a foreign laborer.

“Aama” is sung and composed by Ramchandra Kafle. The lyrics are written by Madan Puraskar winner Amar Nyaupane. Kiran Tuladhar handled the song’s arrangement, mixing, and mastering.

The film’s title “Riyal Ringgit” carries symbolic meaning. “Riyal” is the currency of Gulf countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while “Ringgit” is the currency of Malaysia. These are the countries where many Nepalis go for work. The film aims to present the real-life stories of these workers.

Pramod Chaulagain and Nita Dhungana play the lead roles in the film. The cast also includes Chhulthim Dolma Gurung, Rabindra Khadka, Dhruva Koirala, Prem Subba, Ramchandra Adhikari, Rear Rai, Roshan Shrestha, Ishwari Baral, Bimala Giri, Seema KC, Sandeep Tamang, Subash Thapa Magar, and Bishal Thapa.

The story is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj. The film’s team includes Roshan Shrestha as the action director, Hari Ghale as the cinematographer, Bipin Malla as the editor, Kiran Tuladhar for the background score, and Rajiv Samar as the choreographer. Music is composed by Ramchandra Kafle, Kiran Tuladhar, and Chandan Dhwaj KC. The singers include Sugam Pokharel, Ketan Kshetri, Ramchandra Kafle, and Junu Rijal Kafle.

Song lyrics are written by Amar Nyaupane, Ravi Mall, Kosis Kshetri, Pradeep Bhardwaj, and Chandan Dhwaj KC. The movie was filmed in Rajasthan (India) and in Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Letang (Nepal). Kafiya Films is in charge of distribution.

The filmmakers believe that the film, along with its emotional song “Aama,” will strongly connect with audiences, especially those who have experienced or been affected by foreign employment.
