The road to the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026 is set as teams have learned their opponents following the official Qualifiers draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

A total of 34 teams will compete in the Qualifiers, which will take place from June 23 to July 5, 2025. The teams are divided into eight groups, with six groups featuring four teams each and two groups having five. The group winners will secure a spot in the tournament, joining defending champions China PR, along with Korea Republic and Japan, in the Finals scheduled for March 1-26, 2026.

The Qualifiers will be hosted by eight nations: Cambodia, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Group Breakdown:

  • Group A: Iran, Jordan (Host), Lebanon, Singapore, Bhutan
  • Group B: Thailand (Host), India, Mongolia, Timor-Leste, Iraq
  • Group C: Myanmar (Host), Bahrain, Bangladesh, Turkmenistan
  • Group D: Chinese Taipei, Indonesia (Host), Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan
  • Group E: Vietnam (Host), Guam, UAE, Maldives
  • Group F: Uzbekistan (Host), Nepal, Laos, Sri Lanka
  • Group G: Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia (Host), Saudi Arabia
  • Group H: DPR Korea, Malaysia, Palestine, Tajikistan (Host)

Each group will battle it out for a single qualification spot in what promises to be an exciting competition.
