The 9th Executive Committee meeting of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) was held on March 24 and 25, 2025, at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato, under the leadership of President Pankaj Bikram Nembang. The meeting discussed several key decisions for the development of Nepali football:

  1. The Annual General Assembly will be held on 26th Baishakh, 2082.
  2. The estimated budget of NPR 1,56,32,09,450 will be presented at the AGM, covering various annual programs and competitions.
  3. The audit report for FY 2080/81 was approved and will be presented at the AGM.
  4. LSP Associates has been appointed to conduct the audit for FY 2081/82, which will also be presented at the AGM.
  5. A 15-day notice will be issued for the appointment of a media and marketing agency.
  6. Australian citizen Matt Ross has been appointed as the head coach of the Nepali men’s national football team, holding a Pro license.
  7. Necessary football equipment for grassroots programs will be procured from local suppliers.
  8. The financial regulations and procedures have been updated.
  9. A long-term action plan for the development of women’s football will be created and implemented.
  10. A report on the tragic incident involving six players in Makwanpur district has been presented by the committee.
  11. The technical committee’s recommendations for the players’ reward distribution were accepted and will be implemented.
  12. An election committee and election review committee were formed for the 2083-2087 term election.
  13. A conflict-of-interest policy has been passed.
  14. Piyush Nyaupane has been appointed as the International Relations Officer for the remaining term of the committee.
  15. Administrative decisions on various ongoing investigations regarding former president Ganesh Thapa and senior vice president Bir Bahadur Khadka were discussed, with actions to be taken accordingly through FIFA, AFC, and other relevant bodies.

This meeting’s decisions outline the roadmap for Nepali football’s growth and future.
