In a heartbreaking incident, a Nepali student studying at KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) University in India has reportedly died by suicide. The student has been identified as Prisha Shah, originally from Birgunj, Nepal.
According to initial reports, Shah was pursuing her studies at the Bhubaneswar-based private university when the tragic event occurred. Further details surrounding the incident are yet to be officially confirmed.
This marks the second such incident involving a Nepali student at KIIT University in recent times. Earlier, another Nepali student, Prakriti Lamsal, was found dead in her hostel room under mysterious circumstances.
The Nepali student community and well-wishers have expressed deep sorrow over the recurring tragedies and have called for a thorough investigation into the matter.
