She promises to find it, but Gautam remains skeptical, pointing out that while lost items can be found, stolen ones are rarely recovered. Moti Baa starts to distrust Jhanki, blaming her for the mat’s disappearance. Despite being a staff member, Jhanki is familiar with the family, which raises Moti Baa’s suspicions. Jhanki defends herself, while Anupamaa stands by the staff, treating them like family.
Moti Baa demands that Gautam call the police, but Anupamaa warns that involving the authorities would damage both families. Moti Baa argues that only the Shah family would suffer from this, and she also criticizes Rahi. Anupamaa firmly defends Rahi, but just then, Anil enters and reveals that he has the sacred mat.
