In the 8th March 2025 episode of Anupamaa, Rahi’s wedding day is filled with emotional moments and rising tensions. Prem and Rahi’s emotional connection deepens, while family conflicts unfold, especially with Gautam’s mistreatment of Prathana. Anupamaa takes charge of a crucial ritual, causing further family rifts. The episode highlights love, drama, and unresolved tensions between key characters.
The episode opens with Anupamaa feeling shocked as she sees Rahi, while Prem anxiously waits for her. Anil teases Prem, mentioning how the bride always takes her time, and Pari jokes that Prem seems to be blushing more than Rahi. Ishani humorously adds that Prem will need an OTP to see her. Full of excitement, Prem confidently states that he can handle anything for Rahi and asks what he must do. Mahi tells him to wait just a little longer, while Khyati grows concerned over Rahi’s delay. Ansh volunteers to check on her, and Pari jokingly predicts that Prem will cry when he finally sees Rahi. Leela comments that even grooms are emotional these days.
Meanwhile, Anupamaa grows worried as Rahi reveals she has fallen and needs assistance. After assuring her that she is fine, Anupamaa helps Rahi walk towards Prem. Before Rahi’s face is unveiled, Ansh, Mahi, Rahi, and Ishani demand a token of appreciation (shagun) from Prem. Parag offers them a lakh rupees each, but Ansh insists on taking a more modest amount. When Prem finally sees Rahi, the two lock eyes, and a wave of memories washes over him, leaving Ansh visibly emotional.
Prathana helps Ansh as he recalls how emotional Prem was at her own wedding. Meanwhile, Gautam seethes with anger at the sight of Prathana and Ansh together. Elsewhere, Ishani, Pari, Mahi, Radha, and Ansh scheme to steal Prem’s shoe, while the Kotharis prepare to protect it. Despite their efforts, someone manages to snatch the shoe. In the midst of the chaos, Prathana offers to assist Jhanki, who initially refuses but later accepts her help, causing further frustration for Gautam.
During the wedding rituals, the priest calls on Rahi’s parents to perform a traditional rite. Anupamaa feels the weight of responsibility but is unsure how to take charge. Baa suggests that Hasmuk and Leela step in to carry out the ritual instead. However, Rahi insists that since Anupamaa has been a pillar for Anuj, she should be the one to perform the ritual. Anupamaa urges Rahi to remain quiet, but Prem supports Rahi’s wish. Eventually, the family agrees that Anupamaa should lead the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Ansh offers to help Prathana with her dress, which only fuels Gautam’s anger. When Anupamaa asks Jhanki to serve food, Jhanki insists on focusing on the ritual instead. In a separate altercation, Gautam accuses Prathana of trying to gain Ansh’s attention. In a fit of rage, Prathana confronts him, but Gautam responds by physically mistreating her. Ansh witnesses the abuse and intervenes, only for Gautam to taunt Prathana about her past relationship.
Leela hides Prem’s shoe, hoping Rahi will win the game, and amidst all this, Ansh gets into a confrontation with Gautam after being wrongly accused. Anupamaa steps in to stop the fight and soon discovers that Gautam has been mistreating Prathana all along.
