Apple is set to unveil the new iPhone SE 4 today, along with the PowerBeats Pro 2 wireless earbuds, according to a report by Bloomberg. Unlike the regular iPhone models, which are released annually, the SE series gets updates every two years. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to come with significant upgrades in design, features, and performance.

There is no launch event planned for the iPhone SE 4. Instead, it will be introduced through an update on Apple’s website and a press release. Pre-orders for the device may begin today, with shipments expected to start within a week. The current iPhone SE 3 is no longer available on Apple’s site, signaling that the launch of the SE 4 is imminent.

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to resemble the iPhone 14 but with some key changes, such as a USB-C port and an Action Button. It will likely feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a notch, offering Full HD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. While the iPhone SE 4 will have a single 48 MP camera (unlike the iPhone 14’s dual-camera system), it will be powered by Apple’s flagship A18 chip, making it as fast as the iPhone 16. The base model is rumored to be priced under $500, or around Rs 50,000 in India, offering a modern, affordable option for buyers.

Additionally, the PowerBeats Pro 2, expected to launch alongside the iPhone SE 4, will likely be Apple’s priciest earbuds yet. These may feature advanced capabilities such as real-time heart rate monitoring for workout enthusiasts.
