Arden Cho, renowned for her roles in Teen Wolf and Partner Track, has announced her engagement after a memorable beachside proposal in Maui, Hawaii. The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 8, to share the exciting news, posting a series of heartfelt photos from the special moment.
In her emotional caption, Cho expressed her joy, writing, “Spoiler alert: I said yes! Life’s wild; love is wilder. He fixes bones; I tell stories. He’s the calm to my chaos, the steady hand in my whirlwind life. Thank you for surprising me with the most magical night in my favorite place. We found our way to forever, together. 3.31.25.” While the images offered a glimpse of her fiancé, she kept his identity private.
The proposal took place on March 31, surrounded by the beauty of the Hawaiian sunset. The beach was adorned with a romantic arrangement of pink and red roses, along with flower petals scattered on the sand. In one of the photos, Cho proudly displayed her oval-shaped diamond ring while sharing a kiss with her fiancé. Another image captured the couple embracing on the beach, and the final photo showed them strolling hand-in-hand into the distance, taking in the stunning view.
Reflecting on the evening, Cho described it as “magical” and thanked both her fiancé and their friends for making it all possible. She also shared a funny behind-the-scenes moment about how the proposal almost didn’t seem romantic at first. Cho recalled being annoyed at her fiancé for leaving her in the CLEAR line at the airport while he breezed through TSA PreCheck. “Normally, he always wants to go together, so I was like, ‘Okay, I guess I’ll see you in the lounge? Weirdo,’” she laughed.
Little did she know, he had been secretly hiding the engagement ring and nervously navigating airport security to keep it a surprise. Cho admitted she had no idea the proposal was coming, even though she had grown suspicious when he mentioned a surprise birthday dinner to a friend. She was relieved to learn she had been wrong, and the proposal caught her completely off guard.
