An arrest warrant has been issued against Ashok Yadav, the provincial head of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) in Madhesh Province, after a controversial phone conversation surfaced in which he verbally abused a senior police officer.
🔹 What Happened?
- An audio clip went viral in which Yadav was heard hurling insults at Sarlahi SP Yogendra Kumar Khadka, calling him and others “looters” and questioning their role in Madhesh.
- The audio also revealed a heated exchange where SP Khadka responded by questioning Yadav’s behavior.
- In the clip, Yadav is also heard saying: “You came to loot Madhesh.”
🔹 Legal Action
- Based on the incident, an arrest warrant has been issued, though Yadav has not yet been detained.
- DIG Uma Chaturvedi of Madhesh Province declined to comment, stating the case is still under investigation.

- DIG Binod Ghimire, spokesperson for Nepal Police, confirmed that an inquiry has been initiated to verify the authenticity of the audio.
