Baburam Bhattarai, the former Prime Minister of Nepal and chairman of the Naya Shakti Party, had his official Facebook page hacked. The page, which has around 1.5 million followers, was hacked on Tuesday.
Page Recovered According to Bhattarai’s private secretariat, the Facebook page has now been recovered. Amit Khanal, who handles the IT and media department of the secretariat, said the hacker had made unauthorized comments on old posts.
Fixing the Issue The team is working to remove the unauthorized comments. Khanal also mentioned that Bhattarai’s website, baburambhattarai.com, will be renewed and made active again. The website had been inactive for a long time and was not under their control until now.
