Balen Shah, the rapper and mayor of Kathmandu, has achieved a major milestone with his new song “Nepal Hanseko.” The track reached the top spot on YouTube’s Trending for Music just 19 hours after its release. Released on Monday evening around 5 PM, the song from the movie Laj Sharanam quickly gained popularity, surpassing the song “Feri Jaalma” from the movie Resham Filili.
As of now, the song has garnered over 842,000 views, along with 140,000 likes and more than 11,000 comments. The song has been widely shared on various social media platforms, with many users posting short clips on TikTok.
The movie Laj Sharanam, set for release on 14th Falgun, stars actors like Sitaram Kattel, Arjun Ghimire, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niroula, and Priyana Acharya. Some social media users have claimed that this song achieved the fastest rise to YouTube’s trending list, though this has not yet been confirmed.
