In a Sunday night match in the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona scored a lot of goals against Valencia, winning 7-1. Fermin Lopez played exceptionally well, scoring two goals and assisting two others.

The game started with a fantastic goal by Frenkie de Jong in the second minute from a corner kick. Just five minutes later, Ferran Torres added another goal. Raphinha then scored a third goal in the 14th minute, hitting the ball into an empty net.

Fermin Lopez scored his first goal in the 24th minute and added another just before the first half ended. With 30 minutes left in the game, Hugo Duro scored a consolation goal for Valencia from a cross by Diego Lopez. Substitute Robert Lewandowski also scored, marking his 17th goal for Barcelona this season. The final goal for Barcelona was scored by Cesar Tarrega.

Earlier in August 2024, Barcelona had also won big, defeating Real Valladolid 7-0. In other matches, Rayo Vallecano beat Girona 2-1, Getafe defeated Real Sociedad 3-0, and the game between Athletic Club and Leganes ended in a goalless draw.

In the league standings, Real Madrid leads with 49 points, followed by Atletico Madrid with 45 points, and Barcelona is in third place with 42 points.
