The BBC Proms 2025, known as “The World’s Greatest Music Festival,” is back for 2025 with a fantastic line-up. From 18 July to 13 September, audiences will enjoy eight weeks of magical music. Every concert will be available on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Sounds, with many also shown on BBC TV and iPlayer. General booking opens on 17 May 2025.

Royal Northern Sinfonia will perform Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 2, with dances, fanfares, and hymns. Pianist David Fray will also play Bach’s powerful Keyboard Concerto in D minor.

Shostakovich’s Tragic Opera
