Beast tells the story of Veera Raghavan, a RAW agent on a mission to capture the notorious terrorist Umar Farooq in Pakistan. The operation takes a tragic turn when a missile unintentionally kills an innocent child, leaving Veera grappling with PTSD. Shaken by the experience, he resigns from RAW and returns to Chennai, where he tries to move on with his life.
However, fate has other plans when he meets Preethi at a wedding and later joins a struggling security firm she suggests. Things take a turn when Umar Saif, the brother of Umar Farooq, leads a terrorist group that hijacks East Coast Mall, where Veera is working as a security guard. As the hostage situation intensifies, Veera’s training and past come into play as he works to infiltrate the terrorist group and save the hostages.
Amidst high stakes, Veera kidnaps the Home Minister’s family to pressure the government into action. In a final showdown, he takes down Saif and rescues the hostages, ultimately capturing Farooq once more.
