BenQ V92: A Premium Feel at an Affordable Price

BenQ V92 a Premium Feel at an Affordable Price has been launched targeting users looking for budget-friendly options. How does it compare to the BenQ V91 Plus? Upon holding the phone, its design immediately catches the eye. The vegan leather texture used gives it a premium feel. Available in Space Black and Sahara Gold colors, this phone is priced at NPR 16,999, which seems reasonable considering its features and design.

The BenQ V92 features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display, which offers vibrant colors, providing an enjoyable experience when watching videos or using social media. Regarding the camera, it boasts a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The main camera delivers good pictures in sufficient lighting, which can be seen in the video below. Portrait mode shots are also decent, with a good Bokeh effect. You can take attractive photos by using different filters.

The selfies taken with the front camera are impressive, especially considering the price. Video quality is available at 720p at 30fps from the front camera and 1080p at 30fps from the back camera. However, there is some jerking in the video. The camera comes with modes like Pro, Portrait, Ultra, and Time-lapse. Overall, for a phone priced around NPR 17,000, the camera is satisfactory, but improvements are needed to stabilize videos. When walking or if your hand shakes, the video might not meet expectations.

The BenQ V92 runs on Android 14 and is powered by the Unisoc T606 octa-core processor. While it is an entry-level processor, it handles basic tasks with ease. We found that casual gaming, including games like Free Fire, works without much issue. The phone supports HD graphics, and after an hour of gameplay, there were no significant heating issues. However, frame drops were occasionally observed. It also supports a gyroscope, though it’s not very effective. This phone is not suited for frequent gamers. If you’re buying it for gaming, you may be disappointed.

The device features the In One UI, which is easy to use. A new feature called Smart Window has also been added, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. When charging, receiving calls, or using Face Unlock, notifications appear in the area near the camera at the top of the screen.

The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery. However, the 18-watt charger provided takes over two hours to fully charge the phone. In our usage, the phone lasted a day and a half on a single charge. The battery is decent, but the charging speed could be improved.

For , the phone offers dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM support, and Bluetooth. In terms of security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Face ID, pin, and password options. It also comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is sufficient for everyday use.

Overall, the BenQ V92 is a great choice for those looking for a well-balanced phone in terms of camera, battery, performance, and looks, all at an affordable price.
