The second edition of the Bhadrapur Jhapa Gold Cup will take place from February 19 to February 28, 2025 (Falgun 7 to Falgun 17, 2081) at Mechi Stadium, Bhadrapur, Jhapa. The international invitation knockout football tournament will feature top teams from Nepal, India, and Bangladesh.
Fixture
The competition will be played in a knockout format, with the following matches:
- February 19 (Falgun 7, 2081) – Bhadrapur Blazers vs. Darjeeling Police, India
- February 20 (Falgun 8, 2081) – Jhapa XI FC vs. Machhindra FC
- February 21 (Falgun 9, 2081) – Nepal Police Club vs. Winner of Feb 19 Match
- February 22 (Falgun 10, 2081) – Church Boys United vs. Winner of Feb 20 Match
- February 23 (Falgun 11, 2081) – New Road Team vs. Kawran B.P.S, Bangladesh
- February 24 (Falgun 12, 2081) – APF FC vs. Transport United, Bhutan
The semifinals will take place on February 25 and February 26 (Falgun 13 and 14, 2081), followed by the final on February 28 (Falgun 17, 2081). All matches will kick off at 2:30 PM.
Prize and Awards
The winner of the tournament will receive Rs. 13 lakh, while the runner-up will take home Rs. 7 lakh. The total estimated budget for organizing the event is Rs. 1.78 crore.
The best player of the tournament will be awarded Rs. 1.05 lakh, while the best goalkeeper, top scorer, emerging player, and best coach will each receive Rs. 25,000. Additionally, the Player of the Match in every game will be rewarded Rs. 21,000.
