The episode begins with the manager informing everyone that the police will arrive soon to catch the real thief. Meanwhile, Lakshmi pulls Rishi aside and asks why he told the police that he put the ring in Shalu’s bag. Rishi explains that he did it to protect Shalu and asks Lakshmi to trust him. Lakshmi gets emotional after hearing this.
Elsewhere, Anushka calls Shalu to mock her, revealing that she set her up and that she will definitely go to jail. Later, Anushka shares the “good news” with Malishka about Shalu’s arrest. However, Malishka is upset because Anushka was supposed to frame Lakshmi, not Shalu. Anushka doesn’t care about Malishka’s anger.
At the jewelry store, the police arrive, and the manager accuses Shalu of stealing the ring, using Rishi’s statement as proof. However, the manager also points out that Rishi has not paid for the ring yet. The police decide to take Shalu for questioning, leaving her scared. She begs Lakshmi for help. Lakshmi asks the police to check the CCTV footage, assuring them that the truth will be revealed. The police agree.
Meanwhile, Anushka happily calls Malishka again to tell her that Shalu has been arrested. Malishka is thrilled and tells her mother, Kiran, that Lakshmi won’t be able to interfere anymore. But Kiran warns her that once Shalu is released, she might still marry into their family. Malishka ignores her worry, believing she will already secure her position as the real daughter-in-law by then. She starts preparing for the wedding, while Kiran remains uneasy.
Back at the jewelry store, just before the police take Shalu away, Rishi stops them. He presents a gift card that allows him to buy anything from the store. The manager is doubtful, but the store owner arrives just in time and confirms that he gave the card to Rishi. He makes up a reason to explain it, apologizes for the misunderstanding, and tells the police to leave.
Rishi thanks the owner, who assures him that it was not a problem. Shalu also expresses her gratitude, and Rishi playfully responds. Anushka, frustrated that her plan has failed, gets even angrier when Neel teases her. In frustration, she throws him out and tells him never to come back.
At the Oberoi house, Malishka approaches Neelam and Karishma, expressing her desire to handle all wedding preparations as the future daughter-in-law. They agree to support her.
