The episode begins with Shalu expressing to Ayush that their hearts are destined to be together. Ayush asks her to promise that she will always keep smiling, and Shalu shares the qualities she admires in him. Ayush vows to love her the way she deserves, and the two of them share an emotional moment. Lakshmi enters, and they have a heartfelt conversation together. Meanwhile, Anushka sneaks into the kitchen with poison, tricking the chefs into leaving by telling them that Neelam is calling. Once the kitchen is empty, she places the poison on the table and searches for the boondi laddoo. However, the chefs return unexpectedly and catch her red-handed. They tie her to a chair after noticing the poison. Neel arrives just in time, knocks the chefs unconscious, and rescues Anushka.
Elsewhere, Rishi talks to Kavya about Malishka fainting, expressing confusion about what caused it. Kavya suggests it might be related to pregnancy. Rishi apologizes, and when Malishka regains consciousness, he tells her to take care of herself. Kavya reassures Malishka that Rishi genuinely loves her, but Malishka privately resolves to secure his love for herself alone. Outside, Lakshmi approaches Rishi, sensing something is wrong. Overcome with emotion, Rishi hugs her and pleads for her not to leave. Meanwhile, Neel instructs Anushka to help him hide the unconscious chefs, and they stuff one of them into a moving trolley to wheel him out of the kitchen.
Back with Rishi and Lakshmi, Rishi opens up about the difficulties he’s facing. He tells her that many people in the house want to separate them. When Lakshmi presses him to be specific, Rishi reveals that Malishka introduced him as her husband to her friend, despite knowing he is married to Lakshmi. Lakshmi responds by telling him to do what he feels is right. Determined to fight for her, Rishi says he needs her support, but Lakshmi, wanting him to make his own decisions, walks away.
Neel manages to slip away from Dadi, and Rishi, still troubled, stops Lakshmi and begs her for an answer. She simply tells him to decide for himself, which unexpectedly gives him a sense of relief. Just then, Aanchal calls Rishi to inform him that Neelam wants to see him. As he prepares to leave, Aanchal wonders whether she should warn Neelam that Lakshmi might not leave and could break her promise.
In another part of the house, Kiran thanks Neelam for supporting Malishka. Meanwhile, Malishka has a confrontation with Shalu, leading to a heated argument. Malishka asserts that she will remain in the house as the daughter-in-law, while Lakshmi will have to leave. When Shalu challenges her, Malishka brushes her off and walks away to join her friend.
Shalu later encounters Dadi, who checks on her. Although Shalu claims to be fine, Malishka’s words continue to weigh on her mind. She soon runs into Ayush and urgently tells him about Malishka’s threats, triggering Ayush’s memories of past events. Determined, he decides to confront Neelam.
Meanwhile, Rano stumbles upon an unconscious, tied-up chef while searching for a knife. Alarmed, she calls Shalu, warning her that something is amiss. At the same time, Malishka’s friend Kavya offers to help her win Rishi’s heart.
