In the 8th March 2025 episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Shalu spots Malishka at the hospital and immediately confronts her when she tries to leave. Malishka insists she is not avoiding them and claims she is there for a routine checkup. However, Shalu remains suspicious and reveals they are searching for Lakshmi, who was reportedly seen at the hospital earlier that morning. Determined, Shalu resumes her search.
During her investigation, Shalu comes across an unconscious nurse. She quickly revives her by sprinkling water on her face. Meanwhile, Malishka contacts Balwinder, instructing him to bring a welder to the hospital. Though hesitant at first, Balwinder eventually agrees after Malishka manipulates him emotionally.
Inside the cold storage, Lakshmi is barely conscious. In her weakened state, she envisions Rishi urging her to wake up for the sake of their baby. Drawing strength from this vision, she regains consciousness and desperately pounds on the door, hoping for someone to hear her. Unwavering in her sinister plan, Malishka is determined to ensure Lakshmi’s demise.
Shalu, now with the revived nurse, learns that someone attacked her while she was heading toward the cold storage room. Elsewhere, Rishi and Ayush show Lakshmi’s photograph to the hospital staff, hoping to gather any useful information. A nurse eventually tells them she saw a woman in a nurse’s uniform who resembled Lakshmi. While one nurse refuses to grant access to the CCTV footage, another agrees to help.
Meanwhile, Balwinder sneaks into the hospital with the welder, cautiously avoiding Rishi. Lakshmi, still trapped, prays fervently for her baby’s safety. Malishka orders Balwinder to seal the cold storage door shut, ensuring Lakshmi remains trapped inside. However, the welder refuses to proceed with the cruel act. Furious, Malishka berates Balwinder for hiring an unreliable worker and admits to locking the unconscious nurse in a separate room.
Determined to see the plan through, Balwinder takes the money, buys a welding machine, and resolves to complete the job himself. Meanwhile, Lakshmi continues her desperate prayers, hoping for divine intervention to protect her unborn child.
