All seven people who died in the tragic Bhandara road accident on Saturday morning have now been officially identified, according to Chitwan District Police Office.
The accident occurred near Bhandara along the East-West Highway, when a bus and a microbus (EV) collided. While six victims were identified on Saturday, the identity of the seventh was confirmed on Sunday.
The final victim was Purnakumari Khadka, originally from Besishahar-3, Lamjung, but residing in Geetanagar, Bharatpur-6.
Police also reported that 24 others were injured in the crash. Among them, one is in critical condition, five have moderate injuries, and the rest suffered minor wounds.
