The prestigious Birat Gold Cup 2081 is set to take place from Falgun 19 to Falgun 28 (March 3 to March 12, 2025) at Sahid Rangasala, Biratnagar. All matches will kick off at 6:30 PM.

Defending Champions and Past Performance
Machhindra FC enters the tournament as the defending champions, having won the previous edition by defeating DFA Morang in the final. They will look to retain their title against strong competitors.
Prize and Awards
The tournament offers NPR 1.1 million (11 lakh) to the winner and NPR 500,000 (5 lakh) to the runner-up. Additionally, individual awards will be presented:
- Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, and Top Scorer will receive NPR 15,000 each.
- Man of the Match for each game will get NPR 11,000.
- Tournament’s Best Player will be awarded NPR 51,000.
New Leadership in Organization
Unlike previous editions, which were directly managed by the Birat Gold Cup Trust, this year, the tournament has been handed over to industrialist Naveen Rijal as the coordinator.
