Blackpink Serves Power Tailoring and Glamour at Met Gala 2025

Blackpink’s fashion-forward icons lit up the red carpet at the Met Gala 2025, effortlessly turning heads with their bold takes on the evening’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Making her highly anticipated Met Gala debut, Lisa arrived in a daring Louis Vuitton ensemble. She rocked a sheer, lace blazer paired with matching logo-stamped stockings and black pumps. Her lingerie-inspired look blended edgy glamour with high-fashion finesse, turning the iconic steps into her runway.

Jennie, never one to shy away from a statement, wore a tuxedo-inspired Chanel gown that transformed into a sleek pantsuit. Accented with pearls and a delicate white flower, the look paid homage to Chanel’s classic 1920s and ’30s aesthetic. Topping it off was a stylish hat, cementing her place as one of the night’s best-dressed. Speaking to Vogue, Jennie shared that her look was directly influenced by vintage Chanel runway pieces.

Rosé embraced timeless elegance in a tailored black suit, elevated by a voluminous black cloak that gave her look dramatic flair while staying true to the gala’s tailoring theme.

The event’s theme celebrated Black style through the art of tailoring, in tandem with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s spring 2025 exhibition from the Costume Institute. Celebrities interpreted the theme with innovative twists on suits, ties, and structured silhouettes — and Blackpink stood out as a masterclass in sartorial reinvention.

While the four members — Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo — have been busy with solo ventures, the group is scheduled to reunite for a world tour kicking off in July, promising more unforgettable moments ahead.
