The next wave of K-pop sensation is here — BOYS II PLANET is set to launch its highly anticipated signal song “올라 (HOLA SOLAR)” through a worldwide showcase on June 12, 2025, at 6 PM KST. The performance will mark the first-ever stage featuring all 160 global trainees competing on the survival show.
The global event will be broadcast live across multiple platforms, including YouTube (BOYS II PLANET channel), TikTok (@mnet_official), Mnet Plus, and ABEMA (available only in Japan). Fans worldwide are expected to tune in for the first full performance of the show’s theme song — a powerful anthem designed to represent the scale, diversity, and energy of this new generation of K-pop hopefuls.
“HOLA SOLAR” is more than just a theme song — it is the official Signal Song for the program, setting the tone for the entire season. It serves as both a performance evaluation and a fan introduction to the talents of each trainee, many of whom hail from countries across Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
Ahead of the showcase, Mnet has launched a “Blind Pick” event, giving fans 48 hours (from June 9, 10 AM to June 11, 10 AM KST) to cast their votes for their favorite trainees — without knowing their names or nationalities. The voting, hosted exclusively on Mnet Plus, aims to highlight true potential over bias and will influence early rankings in the competition.
Following the showcase, BOYS II PLANET will officially premiere on July 17, 2025, with localized versions set to air for different regions. A Korean-Chinese edition titled BOYS II PLANET K is slated to follow on July 18, 2025.
