Brown Sugar Found in Dog’s Collar Shocking Drug Smuggling Tactic in Morang

In a bizarre twist to drug trafficking, a man in Morang used his pet dog to smuggle illegal drugs. On Thursday, police arrested 24-year-old Prashan Bhandari from Urlabari-4 after discovering brown sugar hidden in the belt around his dog’s neck.

Bhandari had traveled to the border town of Jogbani with his dog “Rocky” in the afternoon and returned around 5 PM. A body search revealed nothing suspicious on him, but the police inspection of the dog uncovered the concealed narcotics.

According to DSP Bed Prakash Joshi, spokesperson for Morang Police, officers recovered 3.36 grams of brown sugar (heroin) and 35 tablets of Nitrazepam hidden in the dog’s collar during questioning.
