Early Tuesday morning, a bus and a tipper truck collided near Gorechautara, Bandipur Rural Municipality-4, Tanahun, on the Prithvi Highway. The accident left seven people injured.
According to Tanahun District Police Office, the bus with license number Province 1–01–001 Kha 4152 was traveling from Rukum-West to Kathmandu. The tipper truck, with license number Ba. Pra. 01–001 A Yo 0027, was coming from the opposite direction when the crash happened.
Among the injured, six passengers were in the bus and one was the tipper driver. One seriously injured person was transferred to Chitwan Medical College for advanced treatment, while the others are receiving care at Laxmi Hospital in Dumre.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
