A case has been filed today in the Kaski District Court against 19 people, including G.B. Rai, in connection with the Surya Darshan Saving And Credit fraud case.
However, a separate case will be filed on Sunday against five people arrested in the same cooperative fraud case, including National Independent Party president Rabi Lamichhane and former DIG Chhabilal Joshi.
The District Government Attorney’s Office is filing the case against the 19 people for whom arrest warrants were issued in the first phase. The case for Rabi Lamichhane, Chhabilal Joshi, Nature Habers operator Ram Bahadur Khanal, Lila Pakhrin, and Surya Darshan Saving And Credit Co-operative LTD Krishna Gurung will be filed on Sunday.
Kamala Kafle, a lawyer at the Kaski District Government Attorney’s Office, told media that, “Due to additional complaints, we are filing the case today against the 19 people arrested in the first phase, and the case for Rabi and others will be filed on Sunday.”
