The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the second phase of its preparation camp for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 series in Scotland this June. This phase, known as the ‘Core Camp,’ aims to further prepare the players for the international series.​
Expansion of the Squad
Initially, a 49-member preliminary squad was announced. However, the squad has now been expanded to 52 players. These players have been divided into four teams for the camp. The additional players include Naren Bhatt, Yuvraj Khatri, and Santosh Yadav, who were part of the U-19 World Cup qualifying team.​
Team Divisions
The 52 players have been divided into four teams: Nepal Blue, Nepal Green, Nepal Red, and Nepal Yellow. Under the direct supervision of Head Coach Stuart Law, practice matches will be conducted among these teams to aid in the selection process for the final squad.​
Camp Schedule and Location
The camp will be held from April 26 to May 3 at Upper and Lower Mulpani. Coach Stuart Law is expected to arrive in Nepal on April 25 to oversee the camp activities.​
