Cricket Australia (CA) has announced it will back its players’ decisions on whether to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is set to restart this Saturday, May 17. The league was suspended due to recent military tensions between India and Pakistan.

The IPL was put on hold last Friday after the worst fighting between India and Pakistan in almost 30 years. The conflict started last Wednesday when India carried out airstrikes on what it described as “terrorist infrastructure” in Pakistan and Pakistani-controlled Kashmir.
