The 97th Academy Awards (Oscars) ceremony is currently taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The event announces winners in various categories, recognizing the best films and performances of the year.
Actor Kieran Culkin won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the film A Real Pain. Meanwhile, actress Zoe Saldaña secured the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Emilia Pérez.
The Best Film Editing award went to the movie Anora. This film, directed by Sean Baker, also won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
The Best Adapted Screenplay award was given to Peter Straughan for the film Conclave.
In other categories, The Substance won the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, while Wicked received the award for Best Costume Design.
Earlier in the ceremony, Flow was announced as the Best Animated Feature Film, and In the Shadow of the Cypress won Best Animated Short Film.
