In the ongoing Arjun Trophy cricket tournament in Dhangadhi, CVA Attariya will play against Friends Youth Club Doti in the final.
On Sunday, Attariya defeated Dhangadhi Cricket Academy by 6 wickets in the second semifinal, confirming their place in the final against Doti.
The final will be held on Monday at the Fapla International Cricket Ground in Dhangadhi.
In Sunday’s semifinal at Fapla, Dhangadhi set a target of 109 runs, but Attariya completed it with 4 wickets down in 18 overs. Shankar Rana scored an unbeaten 56 runs, and Vivek Yadav added 12 not out. Earlier, Bhim Sarki scored 16, and Dipesh Kandel made 14 runs. In bowling, Dhangadhi’s Hikmat Maharaj took 2 wickets.
Earlier, Dhangadhi, who won the toss and batted first, was all out for 108 runs. Milan Bohara contributed 28 runs, and Abhishek Pal scored 27 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee, returning after participating in the UAE T20 International, made 15 runs in his first match for Dhangadhi.
For Attariya, Vivek Yadav and Kamal Gupta each took 2 wickets.
